Our concrete trucks made it by filling a sinkhole. We’ll call that a win. 😎🚚

Congratulations to Appalachia Service Project on the grand opening of the brand new Volunteer residence building! It will house 130 summer volunteers in "The Lodge" and they can house an additional 40 summer volunteers in the adjacent building. We're proud to welcome Susan McKinney as our new Business Development Manager.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from ETSU, a Master of Public Administration in Organizational Management from ETSU, and a Master of Arts Administration from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She is a graduate of the Appalachian Regional Commission's Leadership Institute and a dedicated advocate for sustainable economic development in our region.

At BCC, Susan will focus on community engagement, relationship development, and carrying forward the Burleson standard of excellence.
