Athena GTX

Athena GTX SOLUTIONS TO HELP SAVE LIVES Athena GTX is a small biomedical engineering firm located in Des Moines, IA.

All of our products are designed and manufactured right here in the Midwest, often by Iowa natives as well as Iowa State and University of Iowa grads. Everything we do at Athena is based on one simple concept: connecting patient and provider. Too often the meaning of medicine gets lost in the shuffle, fundamentally patient care is about the people. We are committed to bringing first-class medicine

to the patient whether they are down the hall, across town or around the globe. We relentlessly pursue the most effective and efficient means to achieve this objective through the use of absolute state-of-the art medical and communication technology. Technology that is not available off-the-shelf, technology we invent right here in Iowa. Athena GTX is, and has been, the primary contractor for multiple US Military and Special Forces medical research and development initiatives. Technologies invented for these elite warfighters are then successfully transitioned to providers battling both acute and chronic illness in fields such as EMS, Home Health and Telemedicine.
