Been a bit busy and quiet but haven’t gone anywhere! Just been preparing for ECC this week. Swapped all 3 scale class rigs over to my class 1 FSX chassis design for the season, going to be making some tweaks and adding an angled skid for the C2/3 version once we are back in town. Also planning to restock on roll bars and hook holders once I get more material in. Hope to see some of you in Alabama this week!

Have a batch of bumper tabs on the way, doing a handful for the group for ECC. The rest will go up on the site, will have a front with small stinger and fairlead and a simple rear in widths for 67mm or 70mm chassis spacers. Stainless, strong and light!

Have been playing around with some chassis designs for a bit, finally got a good layout I felt was worth building and have been working on swapping all my comp rigs to it. It’s a forward biased, small flat skid intended to use a FMM and get the motor as low as possible. First drive on it was at a cash comp in Grand Junction yesterday with a perfect score on my first run. Made it to finals tied for 3rd following a tie for 2nd as well. Finished 2nd in finals, had a great time and was super happy with its performance! Needs a little link tuning, and may start on the angled skid version but I’m excited for this season of crawling 😀
