Have you ever wondered how your air conditioner keeps your home cool and comfortable during the hot summer months? Here's a brief overview of how an air conditioner works:

An air conditioner works by taking hot air from inside your home and cooling it down before blowing it back into your home. It does this by using a refrigerant, which is a special liquid that can absorb heat and release it later. The refrigerant is compressed and turned into a hot gas, which then flows through the outside condenser coils. The hot gas gives off its heat to the outdoor air and becomes a cool liquid again.

The cooled refrigerant is then sent inside to the evaporator coils, which are located in the indoor unit. The warm air from inside your home is blown over the cold coils, which cools the air down before sending it back into your home.

As the air cools, the moisture in the air condenses on the cold evaporator coils and drips into a pan below. This helps to reduce humidity levels in your home.

The process repeats over and over again until your home reaches the desired temperature set on your thermostat.

We are very pleased with AirWorks. In addition to expertly fixing the A/C issue we had, when I called to set up an appointment, the staff helped me make sure it wasn't something simple that I could fix myself. They are super knowledgeable about numerous brands and models of A/Cs. Once it was apparent that it wasn't a simple fix (turned out to be a freon leak) they got me set up for an appointment early the next day. Not only does AirWorks do great work, but they care about the customer, and that will get my business every single time. The price was fair for the work they provided, and we'll be using AirWorks for any future heating/cooling needs.

B&B Air has been handling maintenance and repairs for our business units for years, and we couldn’t be happier with their service. They are always fast to respond, which is especially important in a bridal store where we can’t have brides sweating while trying on dresses.

Their team is always professional, reliable, and fair with pricing. We call them time and time again, and that should say something. We usually work with John, and he is excellent. He quickly finds the problem, fixes it, and gets us cool again.
