Underground infrastructure is becoming more crowded every year.

Vacuum excavation helps crews safely work around existing fiber, electric, gas, and water utilities with greater accuracy and less disruption to surrounding infrastructure.

Professionalism isn’t just about appearance: it shows up in how crews communicate, prepare, and execute every day.

The details matter:
• Organized jobsites
• Equipment readiness
• Clear coordination
• Pride in the finished work

That mindset helps build stronger projects and stronger long-term partnerships.

The Sellenriek Family of Companies extends our deepest sympathies to the family of Mont Gilbert during this time of loss.
For more than 30 years, Mont and his son Donnie have been valued business partners and, more importantly, lifelong friends of the Sellenriek family. Throughout the years, Mont's friendship, integrity, wisdom, and extensive business knowledge made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him and the construction industry. He played a key role in the growth and success of Sellenriek Family of Companies.
Mont was the kind of person who built relationships that went far beyond business. His guidance, support, and genuine friendship will be remembered with gratitude and respect for years to come.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue, Donnie, the entire Gilbert family, the employees of Gilbert and Sons Construction and all those whose lives were touched by Mont. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

When infrastructure projects require precision, minimal disruption, and long-term reliability, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is often the method behind the work.

From road crossings and congested utility corridors to broadband expansion and underground infrastructure upgrades, HDD allows crews to install utilities with greater control while reducing surface disruption and restoration needs.

The strongest safety cultures aren’t built on posters or policies alone.

They’re built by crews that communicate, stay aware, and look out for each other every day in the field.

When accountability exists at every level, jobsites become safer, projects run smoother, and teams operate with more confidence.

In active utility environments, precision matters.

Vac services help crews safely expose existing infrastructure, improve visibility underground, and support more informed decision-making before work continues.

That extra layer of accuracy can help reduce unnecessary risk and keep projects moving with greater confidence.

After 34 years of service, dedication, and leadership, Steve Veach is officially retiring.

When you spend more than three decades with a company, your impact goes far beyond the projects you complete or the years listed on a timeline. You help shape the culture, mentor the people around you, and leave a lasting mark on the organization.

Steve has been a part of the Sellenriek Family of Companies since the 90s, helping guide our growth through decades of change, opportunity, and hard work. His knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to doing things the right way have earned the respect of countless coworkers, customers, and partners along the way.

As Bob Sellenriek put it:
"People like Steve are the reason we're where we are today. His hard work, dedication, and commitment helped build the foundation this company stands on."

That statement captures what so many of us feel. The success of any company is built by people willing to show up day after day, year after year, and invest in something bigger than themselves. Steve has done exactly that for 34 years. The impact you've made will continue to be felt long after your last day.

Please join us in congratulating Steve on an incredible career and wishing him the very best in retirement.
