We were very fortunate to be part of a project helping out a great retired couple. We added fill to stabilize the deck piers on their back deck from a borrow site on their property. This won't be the last of the work around their deck but it will safely get them through winter until spring when other upgrades can be completed.

Wrapped up another one yesterday. This entire area was paved when we started. We removed the existing asphalt, fixed 7-8 failing sub grade areas, straightened up the pavers and regraded about half of the gravel area. Many of the projects we worked on this year were poorly designed causing little to no drainage on the old asphalt. I tell people all the time but here is another reminder. Don't base your bid selection by the cheapest number at the bottom of all of the bids you receive. Do some homework. Make sure you understand what you are getting for each contractors bid. Check their references from other projects they have built. A little time now will save you $$$$ down the road when you have to pay a qualified contractor to come fix the cheapest contractors work. You can thank me later. There are plenty of qualified contractors around......

When the work week is over there is always something to fix. Thanks Redding equipment for tracking down carrier rollers for the 140 so we could keep working. A couple year old machine and the factory's world wide don't have any carrier rollers available. Very thankful for aftermarket parts.

This was a driveway we regraded the existing gravel and added a couple inches of recycled crushed 3/4" concrete before it will be paved. It was a little over 2,000 ft. Long with multiple road tie ins.

Haven't posted much this summer as it has been quite busy. This is a project we are currently working on. It has a little bit of everything. Asphalt removal, digging out placing fabric in soft spots prepping field accesses and regrading specific areas so that they will actually drain. Hope you all have a great weekend!
