Hemenover Construction - COVID-19 update
With the announcement of Governor Pritzker's executive order placed yesterday afternoon Hemenover Construction and has decided it is in the best interest of our employees and clients to close our doors for the foreseeable future. By doing so we hope to further the efforts of the government to slow the progression of the COVID-19 virus. We have asked all of our employees to shelter-in-place with their families and continue to follow all CDC guidelines for maintaining social distance.
We understand that with all projects there are deadlines, schedules, and budget constraints. It was very hard to come to this conclusion but please understand if we all do our part this interruption in our businesses and our daily lives will diminish much faster.
If you have current work in progress on any of our projects please feel free to contact me directly with questions.
Lastly, as we have for the past 84 years we will continue to be here for our sub contractors, vendors, employees, and clients. We all deal with poor site conditions, project changes, architect adjustments, missed deliveries, and back ordered products every day. We somehow are able to make it through those daily interruptions and still move forward, still get the hole dug, the house framed, and under roof.
Information about this virus and its rapid spread is changing minute by minute -- things we all deal with daily. At this point the hole is dug, we have framed the shell -- we just need to get roof on this thing so we can move forward.
We will continue to keep you informed of any changes or progress. Stay home and stay well!
