Cutting and rough fit-up on my tailgate/worktable is now finished. 64" wide x 42" tall. Large opening in the top will house a work table with a grid of 5/8" holes on 2" centers.
Still need to cut out plates to cover the frame.

I was asked by a few here on FB what I charge for welding.
Even though every job is different and some of my estimates are total job based, I do have a set minimum mobile welding prices:
$75.00 mobile fee + 100/hr with a 2 hour minimum.
Yes, I do provide free estimates, and will walk thru the repair with the customer so they know exactly what the plan is.

Well, here it is everyone...the newest addition to the Double D Custom Welding arsenal.
Lincoln Vantage 500 with the Perkins 4 cyl diesel engine.
This puppy puts iut 12,000 watts continuous 1 phase and 20,000 continuous 3 phase power.
And can weld at 525 amps!!
