Four Floors. One Vision. Another Project Completion. 🔨 🏗️

Forge Construction recently completed a 79,602-square-foot office renovation spanning four floors of the iconic Lightwell Building in downtown Kansas City. The project featured modern workplace upgrades, high-end interior finishes, advanced building systems, and extensive coordination within an occupied high-rise environment.

Through strategic planning, phased construction, and strong collaboration with our trade partners, designers, and building operations team, we delivered a seamless renovation with minimal disruption to neighboring tenants. The success of a project of this scale depended on a shared commitment to communication, coordination, and problem-solving at every stage. From preconstruction through final installation, this project showcases Forge's expertise in transforming complex urban spaces into functional, modern work environments while leveraging the strength of trusted partnerships to achieve exceptional results.

Progress continues with our BlueSky Fertility project as we transform an existing first and second floor space into a modern fertility center designed to support patients and staff alike. The renovation includes a new IVF laboratory, patient care spaces, automated fertility storage systems, medical gas infrastructure, and operational offices.

At Forge Construction, it’s never about the size or scope of the project, it’s about how we deliver.

We recently completed a retaining wall replacement project for Swope Health that transformed both the function and appearance of the site. The project included demolition of the failing wall, installation of a new modular retaining wall, relocation of pole lights, excavation and grading, updated landscaping, and storm sewer improvements.

Every project is an opportunity to tailor a unique approach specific to our client’s needs, goals, and vision. Through trust, community, and relationships, we strive to Build Something Real with every partnership and every project we deliver.
