Prior to its opening in 2025, Lansing, Kansas, didn't have a public outdoor pool. Featured in the 2026 Athletic Business Aquatic Design Portfolio, the LAC has an 8,840 SF water surface area packed with modern amenities.

🛠️ Construction Update 🚧

After closing for the season on August 10, construction crews have been hard at work preparing for major renovations at Island Oasis Water Park in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska. Demolition is underway to make way for exciting upgrades, including a new wave pool, leisure pool, splash pad, mini-golf course, and more.

Waters Edge is excited about the start of a new era for Island Oasis; we can’t wait for guests to enjoy the new amenities next summer! 🏊

Designing the new Prairie Meadows Pool at Girl Scout Camp Sacajawea was truly an honor. Each summer, campers will gather at the pool to learn lifelong swimming and water-safety skills and create lasting memories with their friends. ⛺️🏊

Park City Aquatic Center, located at Hap McLean Park in Park City, Kansas, opened this May. The facility features three distinct water play areas, offering something for the whole family! Whether it’s taking a leisurely ride around the current channel, seeking a thrill on the Aqua Zip’n or water slides, getting your feet wet in the splash pad, or just tanning on the deck.

Shout-out to the project team. Together, we helped create a space for Park City residents to enjoy for years to come.
