Haven’t thrown anything up in a week….sorry been busy melting metal! Got the last of the first 5 bases built, worked on some heavy tube guard mounts as well some mesh guard covers….full disclosure I had some help on the mesh guards. I fit them, fit/welded the mounting clips, and welded in the mesh. Welded a SS transfer tube to boot! Was a jacked up week but managed to still get stuff done! Now to get more aluminum done!

Need it Welded or Repaired….CALL ME!

It was time to mate top to the bottom! Not going to lie this thing beat me up and twisted me around to get it all welded, but we got it done! Going to have to do some brainstorming on how to make this dude a little easier to weld. All TIG and with a foot pedal. I think I used everything but my foot on the damn foot pedal on top of using my trusty passive hood! The struggle was real, but only up from here!

Welded….Yep
Repaired….Yep
Assembled….Yep

Frames frames and more frames! Been putting in the hours so haven’t posted much this week.
Should be able to put one completely together real soon! Finished this evening with some steel frame/guard fitting.

No lie this was a bit tricky being I believe this is 24 maybe 22ga SS. Had to fix some popped tacks on the underside. Then fit and weld. I actually have 2 passes in each stitch just to make it flow a little better. Nothing like some good ole 35amp TIG welding for the morning!

And yes I utilized an old rotor as a weight to keep it level. No clamp no problem I improvise!

Cleaned up and going to deliver!

Starting to take shape! Welded everything the way it sits. Left hand overhead TIG while bent over backwards inside the frame….Yea my body reminded me a couple times “hey bitch your not 20 anymore you don’t bend that way” lol
These are starting to really take shape and looking great to boot! Those fit up squares are super badass in case you were wondering!!

Got some other thing is in the works so keep any eye out! And as always if you need something:

Finished welding the 5 bases last night and tonight fit together the 5 tops. They are starting to come together nicely! The more I run that old Syncro 350 the more I like her! Well except when she bites back…..on that note It’s a little warm out the past few days stay hydrated!

Welded….Yep
