-“I rely mostly on relationship-building and communication in my role. A big part of what I do is building connections, creating opportunities, and staying engaged with partners and industry professionals. I also try to bring a positive mindset to every conversation and view everything as an opportunity.”

-“Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and start conversations. Building relationships and staying curious has opened so many doors for me throughout my career and in life as a whole. Having a lot to learn shouldn’t feel scary; it should feel exciting and be something you actively seek opportunities for. I’d also encourage people to say yes to different opportunities and ask a lot of questions. Connections matter, especially today, because they make business and work endeavors more human, and at the end of the day, people are what count most.”

-“I have a long travel list, one that mostly focuses on experiencing different cultures and, most importantly to me, foods that I haven’t had the chance to experience yet. But at this very moment, I would say Texas. Originally being from there and still having most of my family there, if I could wave a magic wand and instantly appear anywhere, that’s where I would want to visit.”

-“My favorite summer activity is a good patio moment or a visit to the downtown farmer's market. The Des Moines community really comes alive in the spring and summer months, and that energy is something that draws me to the area even more. As a bit of a “foodie,” I especially love how the local culinary scene feels more vibrant and full of energy through these experiences during the warmer months.”
