One of our recent projects - Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, LA. This was a project with Sainte Chapelle Studios who provided the transformative design of the entire church building and furnishings. We built the Altar, Reredos, Ambo and three shrines. It was a great blessing working with Fr. Michael Richard, pastor of the church, as well as several awesome parishioners who helped with the install and fed us some good Cajun food!

Here is one of our recent projects - a home altar and matching kneeler for a very faithful couple from Dallas. It's traditional gothic style features several engraved devotional images including the Miraculous Medal, Sacred Hearts of Jesus, Mary, St. Joseph, and the Chi Rho, as well as an scripture engraving in Latin from Matthew 11:28. Thanks to Pio and Gloria Lopez for the opportunity to build this for you!

One of our latest projects was to design and build furnishings for this small chapel within the Houston Coalition for Life offices. It featured a custom entry door to fit a beautiful pro-life stained glass piece made by one of the staff (Joy), an altar with reredos and canopy, two kneelers, two pews, and two reliquaries to display relics they possess of two famous pro-life saints - St. Gianna Molla and St. Margaret of Castello. Our sincere thanks go to Alexandra Sizemore, Christine Meclchor and all the awesome staff for the opportunity to contribute to such an important mission of protecting God's gift of life!

One blessing after an unfortunate ankle break I sustained in late December was the opportunity to finally complete several smaller scale projects that I could manage with limited mobility that had been on the to-do list for several clients.... A double kneeler; a custom lighted frame to display crystal slides from the late 1800's used with a kerosene projector; a Cremains table for funerals; and a coffee table with custom engraved Latin phrases for a family prayer room.

We installed this new custom altar rail at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte, Louisiana just before New Years. They had been previously using individual kneelers for a few years as part of an effort to enhance reverence when receiving Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. Paster Stephen Pellessier along with the generosity of several parishioners decided it was time to make it more permanent. Our thanks go out to the architects at Sainte-Chapelle Studios for bringing this project to LWC!

LWC had the honor of building this full-size portable altar for the National Eucharistic Congress which starts this week in Indianapolis, Indiana at Lucas Oil Stadium. The altar includes a compartment accessible through the rear panel for storage of mass essentials and for access to a winching system that allows the altar to be lifted off the ground onto caster wheels for transporting to and from locations where masses will be served. Many thanks to the donor of this project as well as Studio io for the beautiful design!
