🌑️ Is Your A/C Running All Day and Still Not Cooling? 🌑️

If your air conditioner seems to run constantly but struggles to keep your home comfortable, there could be several causes:

βœ… Dirty Air Filter – A clogged filter restricts airflow and makes your system work harder than necessary.

βœ… Dirty Outdoor Condenser Coil – Dirt and debris on the outdoor unit can reduce efficiency and cooling performance.

βœ… Low Refrigerant (Freon) Levels – Low refrigerant can prevent your system from properly cooling your home and may indicate a leak.

βœ… Improper System Size – If your A/C has always struggled to keep up, it may not be properly sized for your home’s cooling needs.

Don’t let your A/C work overtime this summer! Our experienced technicians can diagnose the problem and get your system running efficiently again.

❄️ AC Not Cooling? Try These Quick Checks Before Calling for Service!

1️⃣ Check Your Fan
Turn your thermostat from COOL to OFF. Then switch the fan setting from AUTO to ON.

βœ… If the indoor fan starts running, that's a good sign.

❌ If the fan does not come on, your system may have a power issue, a control problem, or a failed motor. In this case, give us a call to schedule a service visit.

2️⃣ Check the Outdoor Unit
If the indoor fan is running, switch your thermostat back to COOL and see if the outdoor unit turns on.

3️⃣ Check Your Air Filter
If you hear the system running but little or no air is coming from the vents, inspect your air filter.

⚠️ A dirty filter can restrict airflow and cause your system to freeze up.

If you suspect the unit is frozen:
β€’ Turn the system OFF
β€’ Remove or replace the dirty filter
β€’ Allow the system to thaw for at least 4 hours before turning it back on

Still having trouble? Our team is here to help! Give us a call and we'll get your home cool and comfortable again. ❄️πŸ

If your unit will not turn on here are a few steps to follow:

Turn your thermostat from Cool to Off, then change the fan setting from Auto to On.
β€’ If the indoor fan starts running, that is a good sign and helps narrow down the issue.
β€’ If the fan does not come on, possible causes include a loss of power to the blower, a control issue preventing the blower from receiving a signal, or a failed blower motor.
β€’ One of the most common causes is that the service disconnect switch (often located near the indoor unit in the attic) has been accidentally turned off.

If the fan still does not operate after these checks, a service call will be required so we can properly diagnose and resolve the problem.
