Vicki A. (Gerrits) Kerry passed away with family and friends by her side on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Vicki was born on November 6, 1972, the daughter of George and Marian (Biese) Gerrits. Vicki married Jeffrey Kerry on July 24, 1992, and worked side by side with him for almost the entirety of their 33 years of marriage at their business, Goldin Iron & Metal Recycling, LLC. Under their shared guidance the company has grown to employ over 25 employees and become a fixture in the Fox Valley.
Vicki was thrilled to learn she was pregnant with the couple’s son, Dale Robert, and from that moment worked ceaselessly to be a loving, involved and guiding parent. She was incredibly proud of Dale, who also works in the family business. Vicki did not limit her energy to just parenting her son but also took an interest in the lives of many of her employees, working to help them thru life’s tangles and always trying to coach them to walk a straighter path.
Vicki was a tireless volunteer always managing to end up chairing one event or another. She ran the Hamburger Stand for several years at the St. Mary’s Parish Picnic, was involved with the Park Charter School as a classroom volunteer and on the Governance Board where she was instrumental in getting the group a concession stand at Lambeau Field as part of their fundraising efforts. She fundraised for Ronald McDonald House, took an interest in the Kaukauna School Board and was involved with a number of other non-profit organizations.
In what remained of her little spare time, Vicki enjoyed time spent with her family at their cabin in Mountain where she enjoyed relaxing and looked forward to spending holidays.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Kerry, and son, Dale Robert; two sisters, Mary Tepp and Gwen (Frank) Papenfus; two sisters-in-law Mary Ann Loderbauer and Jill (David) Coenen; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her faithful pup, Duke. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law Robert and Martha Kerry, her brothers-in-law Kevin (Mary) Tepp and John (Mary Ann) Loderbauer.
A memorial service for Vicki will be held Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 at 3:00pm at Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of HSHS St. Vincent Hospital for their diligent care and concern. Also, a very special and heartfelt thank you to family-friend Sharon Fisher – words are not enough to express the appreciation for your help, care and unwavering guidance thru this very trying experience.

🥳HAPPY 33rd (and 66th) ANNIVERSARY to US🥂!!! Why both you ask?? Jeff and I have been married for 33 years TODAY, which is CERTAINLY something to be PROUD of!! Marriage itself is a LOT of work!! When you include being self-employed and WORKING together all day everyday...we consider that DOUBLE the celebration, so it should be counted as such, thus the 66th🤣Wouldn't have it any other way!!
