The fire restoration is in full mode! And the garage change order is delivered!

08/25/2026

On site today in Longview.
Documenting the latest garage expansion and structural changes on this fire restoration project for Heritage Construction. The crew has the walls going up, including the 9-foot north wall extension, big beams in place, and the design continuing to evolve as we coordinate the updated drawings for the permit change order.
This is the kind of work we do: capturing accurate as-built conditions on site and turning field changes into clear, permit-ready plans that keep the project moving.

I stopped at the most recent project TK Drafting Solutions has done for a deck permit drawing set. Took some progress pictures. The fellas on the job had no complaints and are building off them with ease. Looks great. Heritage Construction Cares is the contractor building the project.

Some of the other Stuff I do... PLANT layout. I work with project managers and the various projects they work on. Sometimes getting asked to do things at crazy hours... BECAUSE I am good, efficient and available! These plant layouts eventually turn into drawings that get sent to specialty contractors for further detailing in to shop fabrication drawings and then onto Fab... This paticular plant happens to make quality dog food in pouches. I am also working on another one that makes crackers and other baked items for Costco...
