Safety that doesn't sacrifice style. ❤️
Our client wanted a gate to keep her pups AND her little ones safe on the stairs, but she didn't want an ugly plastic pressure gate ruining her beautiful entryway.
So we at Designs by Castillo built this custom stair gate to perfectly match her existing ironwork — same baskets, same twists, same finish. And yes — it's completely REMOVABLE.
Take it out when you don't need it, no holes, no damage, no trace. Put it back in seconds when you do.
From kids to pups, this gate does it all. Thank you to our amazing client for sharing these beautiful photos!
Have a staircase, doorway, or patio that needs a safe AND beautiful solution?

Fabricating three doors, almost gotten knocked out🥰.

Created a jig to hold the hinges centered. Cutting fit and guess work time in half. 😃

90% completion, the preplan cut more time off fabrication. The first one took 12 hours to figure out. Now, fabrication time is at a quarter of that. Never compromising high quality, craftsmanship and precision. God’s plan
