Most people don’t think about mining when they drive to work, pour a concrete slab, walk into a building, or pick up their cell phone.

Concrete begins with limestone, sand and other minerals.
Homes and buildings depend on mined materials for foundations, steel, glass, drywall and roofing.

The same is true for power lines, hospitals, schools, bridges, vehicles, water systems and nearly every piece of infrastructure we depend on.
