Good morning,
I'm thrilled to share some excellent news – the CAPS parts logjam is finally breaking up! This week, we've witnessed the shipment of several parts kits, marking a significant step forward. Our team will be diligently receiving and inspecting these parts as they arrive to ensure we have everything we need for your CAPS repack. Following this, we'll promptly reach out to you to schedule your airplane.
In the coming days, one of our dedicated team members will be in touch to provide you with an updated scheduled date. Rest assured we are committed to working with each of you individually to ensure a smooth process for getting your airplane delivered to us.
Should you require assistance with transporting your airplane to or from our facility, please don't hesitate to reach out.
For those whose airplanes are currently AOG and in need of a ferry permit, we're here to assist with that as well. Attached is an example of an Agent Letter that requires completion and notarization. Additionally, please ensure that an A&P mechanic inspects the airplane and provides a log entry confirming its airworthiness for the intended ferry flight. Provide us with a copy of the log entry as well.
If you have any additional maintenance or repair needs, please inform our representative so we can update your work order and make necessary arrangements.
If you own a G1 airplane, this presents an opportune moment to address any desired paint touch-ups. Alongside our internal painters, we've partnered with a local paint shop to facilitate painting after replacing the CAPS cover panel. Simply provide our representative with relevant pictures or information about the paint, and we'll obtain a quote for the additional work.
I want to extend our sincere gratitude for your patience throughout the delays and challenges that have brought us to this point. We kindly request your continued patience as we diligently work through our backlog.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Warm regards,
