Production Maintenance Technician
Our company is looking for a Production Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Clean and lubricate tools and machinery, keeping logs of each encounter as specified.
2. Monitor performance of machinery and equipment; adjust and calibrate as needed, ensuring that equipment remains accurate and stays in good working condition.
3. Perform maintenance requirements on CNC machines, other machinery and tools.
4. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts and conduct tests to ensure that repairs are satisfactory.
5. Test damaged machine parts to determine whether major repairs are needed. Ensure yearly PM’s are done on the CNC’s and other equipment requiring maintenance.
6. Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment. Install new machinery as required.
7. General Maintenance/repair of building (utility, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, masonry, etc.)
Skills Needed:
1. Must have a good understanding of electricity, electronics, production machines, and conveyor systems.
2. Ability to use a welder and torch.
3. Computer Literate
4. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints, both electrical and mechanical.
5. Work with technicians to diagnose CNC issues or other equipment.
6. Implement and maintain the Company’s electronic asset management and maintenance record keeping system including maintenance logs on Machinery.
7. Manage OSHA Regulations including recording lock out/tag out.
8. Experience troubleshooting and repairing Woodworking and Facility equipment including staple guns, dowel inserters, forklifts.
Be willing to do other odd jobs requested by management and shop leaders, production supervisors.
