Did you know that 2,289 tons of recyclable material are sent to the landfill annually? Remember that little things add up in the end and really do make a difference!

Help divert waste away from the landfill by:

1) REDUCING how much you consume -- You could do this by refusing unnecessary items or by not overestimating how much food you'll need

2) REUSING items such as last year's gift bags for this year's presents or using holiday meal leftovers as part of a new meal

3) RECYCLING & COMPOSTING what materials you can from holiday gift giving and celebrations
