Successful Wrap-Up of Our Stuff the Bus Campaign!

We’re excited to share the results of our participation in United Way’s Stuff the Bus campaign. With the collective effort of our team at Autocam Medical, we were able to donate an impressive 448 items, far surpassing our goal of 100 items!

These supplies, including backpacks and essential school materials, will make a meaningful impact as they are distributed to students in our community who need them for the upcoming school year. Seeing the backpacks filled and ready for distribution is truly heartwarming. It’s incredible to witness the positive change we can create together through these initiatives.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this challenge a success. Your support is invaluable, and it’s moments like these that remind us of the difference we can make when we come together!

We’re thrilled to be a part of the Regional Math and Science Center’s Advanced Manufacturing Camp!

This five-day camp is an incredible opportunity for students entering 6th and 7th grades to immerse themselves in the world of advanced manufacturing. They’re diving into team-building activities and exploring design thinking, while also getting hands-on experience.

One of our favorite moments of the camp was the off-site tour here at Autocam Medical, where students had a chance to see advanced manufacturing in action. We loved showing them around and sharing real-world insights about our industry. The career fair and panel discussions also gave them a glimpse into the diverse career paths available and helped them connect with professionals who can guide their future aspirations.

It’s inspiring to see these future innovators getting excited about manufacturing, and we’re proud to play a role in their journey. Here’s to shaping a bright future together!

A couple weeks ago, we had the pleasure of treating our amazing team at both Kentwood plants to a hearty catered breakfast. It was an opportunity to express our gratitude for everyone’s hard work and dedication.

Cheers to Barb and Keith on Their Retirement!

After 12 incredible years, we’re celebrating Barb and Keith as they retire. They joined us when we were a team of 40 and have seen us grow to over 400 employees in Michigan. Their roles—Barb in Quality and Keith in Milling, and later design and programming—have been vital to Autocam Medical's success.

We gathered together today to honor their amazing careers and the lasting impact they’ve had on our company. As they prepare to spend time with their grandkids and enjoy their property up north, we send our deepest thanks and best wishes.

Congratulations, Barb and Keith! You’ll be greatly missed.

This week, Autocam Medical proudly hosted a Wellness Fair at both Kentwood locations!

We believe in proactively supporting the health and well-being of our team members, truly making lives better for our employees. The fair featured our amazing vendor partners: Blue Water Benefits, Capital Rx, VSP Vision Care, Delta Dental of Michigan, and RW Baird. Our agent partners from Advantage Benefits Group and Jamie Mills were also present to assist.

On February 9th, we gathered in the AMP Lab to celebrate our newest Apprenticeship Program Graduates. The ceremony brought together families and coworkers to recognize the hard work and commitment that the graduates poured into their apprenticeship journey.

Congratulations to Tyler Carlson, Bawi Cung, Matthew Helak, Brett Hilbrand, MacGuire Moher, Jace Pohl, Luis Rodriguez, Griffin Tomasik, Jonathan VanderMeer and Michael Wolff on completion of their apprenticeships and our sincere thanks for your dedication to the program!

The AMP lab is a hands-on makerspace within our Apprenticeship Program that provides Autocam Medical apprentices the freedom to bring new ideas to life and further enhance their machining skills. Specialized machinery, coupled with the opportunity to receive valuable input from industry experts, enhances the lab’s ability to inspire the next generation of engineers, programmers, and designers.

Rachel recently interned with us in Kentwood, where she worked with our purchasing department to assess inventory levels; develop strategies to optimize inventory levels; and enhanced a Kanban system with improved material management communication and visibility.
