Our mission is to promote eco-friendly business operations while ensuring timely production and meeting the needs of our customers. Join us in improving our Advanced Product Quality Planning.

Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems and standards to ensure products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. This role will support production, manage quality documentation, lead problem-solving activities, and collaborate with other individuals within our quality and management teams to build and improve our current processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor, analyze, and report on quality performance and trends.
* Develop and maintain APQP processes and procedures within ERP system
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
* Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure product compliance.
* Assist in the development of control plans, FMEAs, and PPAP submissions.
* Train and support production staff on quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance role.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant standards.
* Competence in AIAG protocols and processes
* Experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality data analysis software.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Today, Doug Schwartz, Retired Airforce Veteran, and volunteer for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), came along side Navy Reservist, Autsin Ignaffo, to present Issaac Hibner and Garrett Pesaresi of Winamac Coil Spring, with the Patriots Award. “The ESGR Patriot Award recognizes individual supervisors for their exceptional support of National Guard and Reserve employees, promoting a culture of understanding and cooperation between civilian employers and service members.” www.esgr.mil
Navy Reservist, Ignaffo said he was grateful for the support, leadership and flexibility offered by both Hibner and Pesaresi while he was employed at WCS during his transition from military to civilian life.

Winamac Coil Spring would like to thank and congratulate two long time employees of WCS. Both Sandy Sutton and Sam Rife decided to retire at the end of 2024. Sandy began her journey with WCS while still in high school completing over 46 years of service.
Sam dedicated over 31 years of service with most of his time in shipping.
