In Hilltown, PA, this homeowner had a failing concrete foundation and cellar door. After meeting Tate at the home show in Oaks, PA this past month, Tate set up a time to go over for an assessment. After seeing what was going on, and going over everything with the concrete division, we set up a time for the work to be completed.

First, the concrete division removed the old failing cellar door and demolished the bad concrete. Next, the crew set the forms, and reinforced the concrete with rebar before they poured. Before the crew secured the area, they measured for the new custom size angle cellar door. With these measurements, Steelway manufactured a custom Angle cellar door in our King of Prussia, PA plant, while the concrete had time to dry and cure.

Once the newly fabricated cellar door was made, the concrete division went back out, pulled all the forms, dampproofed the concrete foundation, installed the custom angle cellar door, and poured the new concrete apron around the foundation, and finished backfilling the area. This homeowner will not have to worry about any measurable water leaking into her basement now! Another amazing job done by the very talented concrete division!

From start to finish in Doylestown, PA- the homeowner reached out to Steelway to install an egress window. One of our sales representatives went out to access the area and take measurements, after applying and obtaining the required building permit, Steelway went out. We excavated the area next to the home, cut a hole into the foundation, and installed a steel well with a slider window to meet egress code. Now the homeowners can finish the basement and add a bedroom in the area of the newly installed egress window, and they will be code compliant! Looks great guys!

This business on a commercial sidewalk in Bryn Mawr, PA had a rusty sidewalk door that was beyond repair, so they contacted Steelway to replace it. One of our sales consultants went out to take measurements. After Steelway manufactured the diamond plated sidewalk door, our concrete division went out for the installation. First they removed the old rusty sidewalk door, demo'd some of the concrete around the door, placed the newly fabricated sidewalk door into the sidewalk, set forms, and then poured new concrete around the door. With it being as cold as it has been, the concrete crew let the concrete cure for a few days, then went back out to remove the forms. Talk about a great improvement on this busy road!
