This week, our team had the opportunity to support Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) by packing 200 bags of books that were delivered to students at James Love Elementary. Reading Is Fundamental works to inspire the joy of reading and increase access to books and reading resources for children.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to support literacy and learning in our community and help encourage a love of reading among local students.

As students head back to school this fall, backpacks may feel as heavy as ever. But thanks to lithium-ion battery technology, many of the devices students rely on every day are significantly lighter than they would be otherwise.

Lithium's high energy density allows batteries to store more power while weighing less, making tablets, laptops and graphing calculators more portable for students of all ages.

This summer, our community education specialist, Margot Plonk, had the opportunity to visit with over 200 children across Cleveland County through 8 hands-on geology lessons designed to spark curiosity about science and the world around us.

A special thank you to the schools, organizations and youth programs that partnered with us to make these experiences possible for our local youth.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many young learners throughout the summer and look forward to continuing these educational opportunities in the future!
