Today’s a big one for Merlin Fueling.
I want to introduce my business partner and COO, Joshua P Hedrick.
We got him a new truck. It's shiny and It probably runs better than half the sites we show up to. But let’s be clear, the truck didn’t make the man. The man definitely makes the truck.
Josh is a father of two, a solid husband, and the kind of guy who treats every job like it’s his name on the line. If it’s broke, he’ll fix it. If it’s confusing, he’ll figure it out. If it’s buried underground, he’s probably already thinking three steps ahead of it.
Before Merlin Fueling, he was dabbling in mechanics, hot shotting the open roads and served in the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Propulsion Journeyman - which is a long way of saying he’s been fixing complicated, expensive things under pressure for a long time. From Shaw to Moody, he built a reputation on discipline, precision, and getting it right the first time.
When he brought that same energy into the petroleum world with JF Petroleum, where he spent over 7 years mastering everything from dispensers to POS systems to tank monitoring and EV charging, certifying across the board, the rest was history.
When it comes to below ground containment, piping, and tank work… this is his lane. Install, removal, repair. If it involves fuel and dirt, he’s already ahead of it.
We’ve worked together for years, and it’s always been the same. No drama, no shortcuts, just getting it done. That trust is a big part of what Merlin Fueling is built on.
Now he’s got the truck to match the work.
So if you see that shiny new whip pulling in, just know… something’s about to get fixed the right way.
Josh probably won’t love this post, but that’s fine. He earned it.
Josh likes to play with his chickens when he’s not turning wrenches in the field.
