Wayne Johnson & Sons Inc. (Est. 1962) is looking for an entry-level Carpenter’s Helper. Experience not required. On-the-job training offered. Our carpenter has 35 years of experience.

Job sites are located in and near Morris and Passaic County.

Responsibilities
Assist onsite carpenter with trimming, minor framing, kitchens, decking and other carpentry related tasks
Occasionally assist with spackling, painting, and caulking
Pick up materials at supply houses and drop off at worksite as needed
Assist with roofing/siding jobs and clean up
Clean job site daily including debris removal and sweeping/vacuuming
Assist with snow plowing, salting, and shoveling

Qualifications
Valid driver’s license as you will be required to drive company owned vehicles
Lift, carry, move up to 60lbs or more
1 year of construction experience preferred but not required
1 year of carpentry experience preferred but not required
Dependable, hardworking, people oriented
Efficient communicator
English required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Basic hand tools required

Hourly rate: Based on experience. Call Wayne Jr.

Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm 8 hours, Monday - Friday and occasional Saturdays
