Assistant Warehouse Manager (Wasilla)
Immediate Opening for Assistant Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications:
• Electrical general construction experience (Preferred)
• Small group supervision 3-8 people (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (Required)
• United States work authorization (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Warehouse: 1 years (Preferred)
• Forklift Certification (Preferred)
• Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) (Preferred)
Vannoy Electric is seeking a highly motivated person to assist the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day tasks, which include but are not limited to:
Receiving
Stocking
Pulling orders
Shipping
Safety management
Stock rotation
Product security
Maintenance of equipment
Training
You will be expected to assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse crew members; Ensuring that essential duties and specific projects that maintain the physical environment of the warehouse, are completed safely and accurately. Participating in training for the safe and proper use of equipment. Handling of inventory to ensure preservation of our employees' health and product value throughout the custody chain. Safely operating all the necessary equipment in work area. Understanding the nature of materials received to ensure proper handling techniques are used by warehouse crew members. Providing direct performance reporting and feedback, positive attitude, behavior to model, and appropriate encouragement to the warehouse crew. Being a positive representative of the organization, contributing to its overall health, employee morale and public image.

Work with other warehouse managers to develop improved procedures
Ensures OSHA regulations are followed
Physically and safely lift boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
Pass driver qualification policy requirements according to company policies and OSHA regulations
Receive forklift operator certification
