As we honor our nation’s veterans today, Whitson Construction Co., Inc. is proud to be part of Operation Hero’s Hill — a housing initiative led by Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs.

This inspiring project is creating a tiny home community to give homeless veterans a safe place to call home. Built by local students and participants in the Resource Valley Apprenticeship Program, Operation Hero’s Hill not only supports our veterans but also helps train the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

We’re honored to partner with and sponsor this meaningful program — investing in people, purpose, and the power of community.

Whitson Construction is proud to partner with Cherokee Health Systems on the newly renovated practice on College Street. This updated facility will provide expanded healthcare services and a welcoming environment for patients in our community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to help bring this project to life and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will make for families in the Knoxville community and beyond.

Whitson Construction is proud to partner with Mayor Glenn Jacobs and Knox County Schools for the new Operation Hero’s Hill initiative.

“Operation Hero's Hill is a transformative initiative dedicated to ending veteran homelessness by providing safe, stable, and dignified housing for those who have given much in defense of our country.”

The first phase of this initiative will involve the construction of 20 tiny homes, in addition to a community center, for veterans of the Knox County community.

As a part of this phase, Whitson Construction will be working alongside Karns High School to help build 6 of the 20 homes.
