Concerning ripple effects for all of our customers due to these tariffs. Lumber is also on the rise. These cost increases could add significant costs to the construction of new homes and even affect renovations.

In a move widely expected to raise residential construction costs, the White House has announced that 25% tariffs on all imported steel and aluminum products will take effect in March.

Hello Falcon fans. Lately our modular building has been really popular. We normally only see a handful of visitors to our website, but the last few months have had over 1000 visitors and countless contacts. Clearly people are looking for other options to find affordable, quality housing. I love this movement! We are working hard to follow up with all the requests, so please be patient with us.

Over the years in this business we have done A LOT of renovation projects. This particular project was one of the most challenging and rewarding. We are no longer accepting renovation projects because of our laser focus on affordable modular building, but this was one our best projects to date. I want to start by thanking our customers, the Sweetings, for trusting us with this project. I know that these are giant investments and we are honored to have had the opportunity to complete this project for you.

And big thanks to our home designer, Maureen. She took an existing basement ranch home and transformed it into a dream home for our customer. We added a large addition on the rear and completely gutted the interior. Her design was spot on and she was a delight to work with.

Next on my list is our project manager Pete. This is Pete's last project with us. The grumpy legend Peter is RETIRING! Pete has been in construction his entire life. Pete is an expert builder and sees things that most will not. I am so grateful to Pete for his time with Falcon Development. We certainly would not have accomplished the things we did without his management, skill, and knowledge. Granted, there were hard days, but they were all worth it. Pete we all wish you the absolute best retirement. Bottoms up and enjoy the warm weather. (P.S. there will be a retirement party at the office soon. Date TBD)

Last but not least is my Falcon Development team. Kristina, Tom, Chip, John, Pete, and all my awesome subcontractors. You guys are the reason we are successful. Thank you for your hard work, dedication to doing things right, and for paying attention to the details. Great Job on this project.
