Throw back to one of our favorites!

This gorgeous staircase was reimagined as part of a lakeside cabin remodel in Eastern Tennessee, blending craftsmanship with the warmth of mountain living. The graceful curved pine rail, traditional turned rope twist spindles, bent shiplap paneling and rich wood tones are complemented by the stairs plaid runner. This helps create an inviting transition between floors while honoring the home’s character and tight spaces.

Surrounded by serene lake views and nestled in the Tennessee landscape, this space balances elegance, comfort, and heritage detailing for a home that feels both elevated and effortlessly cozy.

Happy news! Going home today. Cancer was completely removed and chemotherapy is not necessary.

I’m looking forward to this amazing workshop.

If our Tree to Tread experience wasn't exciting enough Day 2 of our Ohio based shop tour on Friday, June 23rd will include a tour of Keim Lumber, a 50-acre complex of retail, warehouse and production space, who have been serving customers since 1911 (yes! that is not a typo).

Later in the day we will take in the artistry of Abner Henry, a bespoke furniture maker, that partnered with The Met to create a inspired limited edition collection.

Hickory dickory dock... This stair has had us working round the clock 😂. This laminated hickory stringer and handrail stair has came a long way in a few months thanks to some hard work from a great team! Now time for a few days of R&R and back to working on the one that will go underneath this one.

The 2021 StairCraft Award for Best Spiral Stairway was awarded to Parks and Sons with this flowing staircase. The stair was designed to accent the retail products being offered. The reveals and anodized brass add dimension to this beauty. Congratulations to Rusty Parks and the entire team at Parks and Sons, Inc.!
