This article answers one of the toughest engineering questions which for centuries has seemingly been unanswerable.

Absolutely amazing that 2000 years ago someone was advanced enough to make concrete WITHOUT steel reinforcing and not only is it still standing, it is standing because the chemical composition of the materials and how the mixing process was executed at high heat produced the situation in which when cracked the concrete actually produced a calcium compound that filled the cracks! Astounding.

If this research team can replicate this recipe and process current day construction will forever be changed. Like digital photography putting the film industry back to zero!

The ancient Romans were masters of building and engineering, perhaps most famously represented by the aqueducts.

35 years ago this month I founded Construction Plus Inc. What a tremendous blessing it has been, not only as a wonderful career but via the life long friendships it has given me. I have been blessed to work for some of the finest people and businesses in the region.
Most of my clients have become friends, many very close friends, which I cherish even more than the buildings I helped them design and build. To each of you, Thank you!

In 2008, 15 years ago I founded Construction Strategies LLC which has served as a consulting business, primarily as litigation support for attorneys for private clients or insurance companies as a construction expert witness. I plan on practicing this part of my career into semi-retirement at some point.
