Supporting pets goes beyond the work we do in the lab.

Giving back to the community is an important part of our mission to support companion animals. Last week, we spent time volunteering at Young-Williams Animal Center, supporting the work they do for animals in our community. We’re thankful for the opportunity to give back and help make a positive impact for pets and the people who care for them. 🐶

What better way to celebrate National Pet Week than in the nation’s capital discussing pet-inclusive policy.

This week, our team is in Washington, D.C. attending the Human Animal Bond Research Institute - HABRI Policy Forum.

As pet ownership continues to increase, so does the need for communities that can support it, requiring thoughtful, balanced approaches to policy.

BioPet is honored to be part of the discussion and to hear from a wide range of perspectives working to advance pet-inclusive communities.

What an incredible experience at The Knoxville Summit!

We sent members of our leadership team to hear from speakers like Phillip Fulmer (GBO 🍊), Willie Robertson, and Allan Houston, among others! The day was packed with powerful moments that pushed attendees to think bigger, raise standards, and redefine their limits. Our team is grateful for the conversations and inspirational ideas we’re bringing back to BioPet.

We closed out March with a busy and rewarding week!

Our CEO, J Retinger, represented us at Global Pet Expo, connecting with leaders across the pet industry.

Back at the lab, our team invested in the future. Analyst, Allyson, attended a local school career day, introducing students to opportunities in science and genetics. STEM for the win!

In Nashville, we joined Greystar Nashville to recognize top-performing teams and communities across the region.

To wrap it up, we hosted Apartment Association of Greater Knoxville, Inc. at our headquarters for CAM and CAPS courses, welcoming multifamily professionals into our space.
