Responsible Pet Ownership Day is tomorrow! PooPrints, our flagship program, helps multifamily communities across the U.S. promote responsible pet ownership through DNA technology.

By providing communities with a way to identify dogs through DNA, our program is the only pet accountability program offered to multifamily. PooPrints supports compliance, encourages accountability, and helps create cleaner grounds for residents and their pets.

Take a look at this year’s data to see where PooPrints has the strongest impact on pet responsibility in the U.S.!🐾

Like so many across East Tennessee, our team is saddened by the loss of Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s impact on this region goes far beyond her music. Her generosity, commitment to her hometown, and pride in her East Tennessee roots helped shape the communities we call home and inspired generations of people to give back and make a difference.

As an East Tennessee company, BioPet Laboratories is grateful to be part of a region so deeply shaped by Dolly’s legacy.

From all of us at BioPet, we’re grateful for the countless lives she touched and the lasting mark she leaves on East Tennessee.

Last week, we attended the International Conference on Canine and Feline Genetics and Genomics (ICCFGG) at Cornell University

The conference brought together researchers and industry leaders who shared the latest advancements in canine and feline genetics. We enjoyed learning about emerging research and connecting with academic partners who are helping shape the future of pet science.

We’re excited to bring what we learned back to our team and continue advancing innovation in animal genetics.

Supporting pets goes beyond the work we do in the lab.

Giving back to the community is an important part of our mission to support companion animals. Last week, we spent time volunteering at Young-Williams Animal Center, supporting the work they do for animals in our community. We’re thankful for the opportunity to give back and help make a positive impact for pets and the people who care for them. 🐶

What better way to celebrate National Pet Week than in the nation’s capital discussing pet-inclusive policy.

This week, our team is in Washington, D.C. attending the Human Animal Bond Research Institute - HABRI Policy Forum.

As pet ownership continues to increase, so does the need for communities that can support it, requiring thoughtful, balanced approaches to policy.

BioPet is honored to be part of the discussion and to hear from a wide range of perspectives working to advance pet-inclusive communities.

We closed out March with a busy and rewarding week!

Our CEO, J Retinger, represented us at Global Pet Expo, connecting with leaders across the pet industry.

Back at the lab, our team invested in the future. Analyst, Allyson, attended a local school career day, introducing students to opportunities in science and genetics. STEM for the win!

In Nashville, we joined Greystar Nashville to recognize top-performing teams and communities across the region.
