Omega Plastics LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Andres Guzman to the company payroll. Andres brings with him 25+ years of experience in the plastic industry, specifically windows and doors. Andres received a bachelor’s in business administration from the Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile, and a postgraduate degree from the ESE Business School at Universidad delos Andes in Chile in sales and marketing. He fine-tuned this knowledge by working for several plastic window and door manufacturers as a financial controller and logistics director. He also worked at VEKA Chile S.A. as Operations Manager and later as the Regional Finance & Logistics Director. For a 5-year period, Andres also started and ran his own window and door company.
Andres comes to the Knoxville plant to become the Chief Finance & Supply Chain Officer. We are thrilled to have Andres with us. He has proven experience in plastic manufacturing and solid leadership skills along with a strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management. Part of his role is to identify opportunities to reduce expenses, optimize production cost, reduce scrap and improve profitability. He will be evaluating our financial health, reviewing technology, and aligning the finance function with the company’s strategic goals. Welcome Andres to both our team and to Knoxville, Tennessee.
