Think you’ve got what it takes to be crowned Possum Fest Queen 2026? Dust off your tail and sharpen those claws! The most prestigious, slightly-unhinged pageant in Kentucky is back! 👑🦝

🚨 DEADLINE TO REGISTER: THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 28! 🚨
We aren’t looking for “pageant perfect.” We’re looking for the most charming, creative contestant with the most possum pride!
Contestants will be judged on:
👗 BEST COSTUME
Strut the runway in your best possum-inspired outfit — glamorous, hilarious, or handmade. Bonus points for tails or whiskers!
🎤 INTERVIEW
Show off your wit, your possum knowledge, your hiss, and your dedication to the nocturnal lifestyle.
🎶 TALENT SHOWCASE
Keep it clean — no pun intended! Maybe you’re a kazoo virtuoso, can play “Rocky Top” on the washboard or jug, perform an interpretive dance about “playing possum,” or specialize in squirrel-calling or biscuit tossing!
Your final score will be based on all three categories.
