Midwest Cooling Tower Services would like to welcome Mr. Phil Thennes to our team as the New Service Director for our Erectastep Division. Mr. Phil comes to us with over 30 years of sales and management experience from companies all over the US. He is looking forward to growing our Erectastep Division and utilizing our customer relationships we already have and gaining new ones. One of his main goals is to get in front of the customer to conduct lunch and learns to give our customers more knowledge on how Erectastep can truly benefit their company to it’s full potential. Welcome to the team Mr. Phil, Midwest is looking forward to taking Erectastep to a whole new level.

At Midwest we believe in employee recognition and value our employees as more than just employees they are family. Our October Employee of the Month is Mr. Melvin Washington.

Melvin Washington has been with Midwest for nearly 10 years. He is a very valuable part of our team. Melvin is an incredible mentor/teacher for our new hires and younger employees who often need a little extra coaching. He is rarely ever seen without a smile on his face and never afraid to speak up when something is not right. He has been a tremendous asset in the successful implementation of the new ExxonMobil Safety System (PSMS) throughout the Midwest Crews here in Baton Rouge. Melvin never complains and is not afraid to take on any task he is asked to do rather it is leading a crew, wading in the basin, hole watch, flagger, and everything in between. Thank you, Melvin, for all your hard work and dedication to Midwest. It does not go unnoticed.
