The renovation at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois transformed the existing dining services area into a modern, functional space designed to better serve students and staff. The project included new wall and flooring finishes, installation of commercial kitchen equipment, custom casework and countertops, and comprehensive upgrades to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support the new layout. The result is an efficient, refreshed dining environment built to meet the facility's current and future needs.

We were honored to play a small part in a meaningful project for our La Crosse, Wisconsin community.

Members of the Betsy Thunder family, the Ho-Chunk Nation, community leaders, and guests gathered in Riverside Park for the dedication of the Betsy Thunder statue, honoring a respected Ho-Chunk healer and an influential woman in the Nation's history.

Borton Construction was proud to provide and install the concrete foundation supporting this beautiful monument. The finished project is a testament to the outstanding design and installation expertise of our friends at Coulee Region Ecoscapes.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this lasting tribute to life.

📣 ✨ The moment we’ve all been waiting for. Martha's saying goodbye to one of our famous potholes because.... JavaVino’s finally getting a NEW PARKING LOT! 📣 ✨

We’re so thrilled to announce our parking lot will be undergoing construction beginning Monday, August 10th. But don’t worry; we’ll still be OPEN FOR BUSINESS in our Dining Room & Patio throughout the chaos. We hope to see your continued support!

What does this mean for our customers? As with all good things... there’s a catch.
•During Phase 1 of construction, our Drive Thru will be CLOSED (tentative dates: August 10-18). Unfortunately, this means the quick convenience of our Drive Thru will be lost during that time. Drive Thru customers are asked to place orders inside, as well as pick up any takeout/online orders in our dining room. We completely understand this may throw a curve in your daily routines, so we’ll be providing commission-free delivery and curbside pick up in the meantime. More details to come!
•During Phase 2, our Drive Thru will reopen and the other half of our parking lot nearest to Losey Blvd will be completed – tentative end date: August 26th. No matter the look of it, our Dining Room & Patio will be open for service all 7 days of the week.
•Phase 1: enter/exit at Losey Blvd or State Rd near patio | Phase 2: enter/exit at 22nd Drive or Drive Thru.
•We kindly ask as our usable parking spots fill up during each phase that customers find nearby street parking while being cautious of neighboring driveways and entrances.
•In true Wisconsin fashion, weather/other construction obstacles may impact progress; we'll continue to update customers on any date changes!

THANK YOU to our customers, staff, and the Borton Construction, Inc. team for making all of this possible. A new parking lot has been a long time coming, and we’re so excited to share it with you soon!

As Finance Manager, April brings more than 23 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management to the Borton Construction team. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to accuracy help ensure the company's financial operations run efficiently while supporting both the team and our clients.

April has always been passionate about helping others. She previously served as a foster parent and is the proud mother of seven amazing children. As a longtime travel hockey mom, she understands the value of commitment, teamwork, and staying organized in every aspect of life.

Outside of the office, April enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, relaxing on the river, and traveling whenever she has the opportunity. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine care for people make her a valued member of the Borton Construction team.
