To my label owner friends. Are you aware of Dolby Atmos Music or Apple Spatial Audio? You should be since Amazon, Apple and Tidal all have immersive audio mixes available. Soon Spotify will join them.
Did you know that your Atmos and 360RA mixes have a unique ISRC? This means another revenue stream from that same song.
One that you are missing out on.
You should also know that Atmos mixes include downmixes in 5.1, 7.1 and 2.0. On many releases the 2.0 downmix is the stereo file that streams. This means you can do one mix and deliver 2 different versions of your song

Not gonna lie. Taking two years off to recover from my hospital adventure, close our store and studio and get myself back online at home has been a huge drain. I’m not the kind of person to ask for donations but I love to work so keep me in mind. I have an amazing new studio to mix and master records in and I’m always available for consultation on studio design, construction and installations. I’ve been forced to retire from the physical labor part but I can still do service work on consoles, tape machines and of course 1200s. I’m in La Grange by the Metra station. The new mix room is online for in the box work in Stereo, Atmos and 360 RA. The first 2 modules have been installed in the Fix Console 360 to allow me to calibrate the buckets and master section. It will be online later this summer.
