Spanish Revival garden design developed as an extension of architecture.

Jardín del Alma is a landscape designed in direct dialogue with architecture.

The house carries the language of Spanish Colonial Revival with Mission and Mexican vernacular influence. Its massing, its hand-finished stucco, its presence in light. These elements are not treated as background. They become the foundation of the landscape.

At LASD Studio, we approach each project through architecture first. We study proportion, material expression, cultural context, and the way the building meets the ground. The landscape is then developed as a continuation of that logic. Not as decoration, but as structure, atmosphere, and long-term performance.

This project follows that path.

The garden unfolds as a sequence of spaces shaped by light, movement, and use. Olive and citrus trees anchor the composition. Planting responds to climate and season. Surfaces carry warmth and texture. Every element is placed with intention, allowing the garden to age with dignity and clarity.

The pergola creates a place for gathering. The fire area holds a quieter rhythm. Transitions soften the movement from exterior to interior life. The entire composition remains grounded in the architecture, while allowing nature to evolve within it.

We design landscapes that respect architecture, that perform ecologically, and that remain relevant over time. Each project is built on cultural understanding, environmental logic, and long-term economic clarity.

This project is based on Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with Mexican vernacular influence. The landscape design follows architectural proportion, material expression, and climate-responsive planting strategies.

Jardín del Alma is not a static design. It is a living framework where life, memory, and time become part of the space.
