Doosan Turbomachinery Services (DTS) welcomed another large group of MARE 100 and 424 students from Texas A&M University – Galveston to tour the DTS facilities. Students got the ability to see real world applications of the gas turbines they learned about in class, as well experience first hand the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of heavy duty gas turbines and steam turbines. During the tour, A&M Galveston alumni, like Anthony Parker, Cameron Patino, Brenton Orchard, and Cameron Graham, were available for question and answers. As the group enjoyed their lunch, a final Q&A session was held by our VP of Engineering, Scott Keller. Many thanks to professors Andrew Moore and Adam Reeves for their efforts in educating the next generation of turbomachinery experts!
