Responsibilities
Work in a safe manner
Understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations.
Observes, analyzes, and determines action for service and repair of equipment.
Performs necessary repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional and productive manner.
Performs repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment
Performs factory authorized modifications per specifications.
Responsible for maintaining tools required for performing the job effectively and safely.
Responsible for following safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs on site.
Able to lift 80 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder.
Handle exposure to dust, fumes, heights and high noise levels
Perform repairs and software upgraded on existing POS systems
Resolve warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors.
Perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis
Perform break fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, plumbing and mechanical work.
Provide quality customer service that exceeds customer expectation by ensuring that all assigned duties are completed in a cost-effective manner.
Perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers.
Work with service project crew on service projects, assist lead technician(s) with the start-up, and commissioning of equipment.
Work with maintenance crew on service projects assist lead technician(s) with the start-up and commissioning of equipment.
Perform any duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience in fuel maintenance and/or maintenance related trade school preferred.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience.
Electronic and computer skills preferred.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
Willing and able to travel when necessary.
Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Ability to work with various hand and power tools.
Ability to interact with customers, colleagues and management in a professional courteous manner.
A can-do, will-do, positive attitude with good follow-up skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work flexible hours such as weekends, on-call, evenings and holidays.
A strong focus on details.
