After many years serving as Chair of the Professionals of Lagcoe, Clayton now continues his leadership role as a Board member of Lagcoe. His involvement across the organization has been truly remarkable, supporting initiatives such as Little Energizers, the Lagcoe Invitational Golf Tournament, Roux Fest, and numerous workforce and career development efforts.

Today, the Little Energizers program visited Dr. Raphael A. Baranco Elementary School to spend the morning talking STEM, energy, innovation, and future career opportunities with students.

A special thank you to Clayton Williamson, Lagcoe Board Member, Aishala Derouen, President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and our “junior” volunteer, Henry Williamson, for helping make today’s session engaging and impactful for the students.

We always enjoy visiting Baranco Elementary and seeing the excitement students have while learning through hands-on activities and conversations about the future of STEM and energy.

Thank you to all the volunteers and partners who continue helping us inspire the next generation through Little Energizers.

Talking about energy conservation is important, and Lafayette Economic Development Authority support of this program helped make this experience possible.
Today, students learned about the importance of energy conservation while building and decorating their own energy houses, then testing them through hands-on activities that made STEM and energy education exciting, interactive, and unforgettable.

Experiences like this help students connect creativity, problem-solving, and real-world energy concepts in a way they will remember for years to come. We truly can’t wait to return and continue inspiring the next generation through Little Energizers.

Thank you to the incredible volunteers, teachers, and amazing students who made the day so much fun and so meaningful. The energy, excitement, and curiosity in the classroom reminded us exactly why programs like Little Energizers matter.
