Today, I had the pleasure of working alongside one of the best garage door service guys in the business! Sammy has been with Acadiana Garage Doors for over 30 years, and he was so excited that I finally stepped away from my desk and rode with him throughout the day!

I helped with a circuit board change, belt changes, and several other repairs. And by “helped,” I mean... I handed him parts and carried his tool bag 😂

My favorite part of the day was seeing how so many customers remembered Sammy from over the years and treated him like family. That says so much about the kind of person he is and the relationships he has built throughout his career.

We appreciate Sammy more than he will ever know! 💞

Wow! What a wicked storm that passed through our area last night! ⛈️⚡️

If you woke up this morning to a malfunctioning garage door after all that lightning, here are a few things you can check:

🔌 Power Supply - Make sure your garage door opener is plugged in and the outlet is working. Try plugging another device into the outlet to test it. Also, check for any tripped circuit breakers or GFCI outlets in the garage.

👀 Visual Inspection - Look for burn marks or visibly damaged components on the motor or control board.

🔄 Reset the System - Unplug the opener for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to see if resetting the system resolves the issue.
