We are excited to offer the position of Senior Accountant.
Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The main function of the Senior Accountant is to gather, prepare, verify, and consolidate monthly financial statement packages. The Senior Accountant is responsible for accuracy and communication of two subsidiary company financial statements along with the preparation of consolidated financial reporting packages. The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant for the two subsidiaries will include site-specific Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cash Management, and other processes, as necessary. In addition, the Senior Accountant will review cost accounting across the company and be the primary point person on the global consolidation and adherence to US generally accepted accounting principles.
This position is based at the Lafayette Instrument Company headquarters in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but is flexible based on need. Travel of 10-15% could be required for this role.
