"I don't know why every doctor wouldn't order DCISionRT. Just order the test." — Holly, DCIS survivor

Holly was diagnosed with DCIS in early 2026 after her primary care physician put her on an enhanced screening protocol because of her family history. It took a conversation with a friend to find out about DCISionRT.

Her score was 0.8, the lowest possible, indicating that she wouldn't benefit from radiation treatment, and echoing the recommendations of both her surgeon and radiation oncologist.

Holly shared her full DCIS story with us a few days after receiving her result.

Thank you, Holly, for sharing your DCIS story with us.

A major takeaway from ASBrS 2026: precision medicine is reshaping breast cancer care by helping clinicians personalize treatment decisions and reduce overtreatment.

Our larger-than-life DCISionRT® banner featuring Dr. Patrick Borgen’s statement — “Overtreatment of DCIS is real.” — sparked meaningful conversations throughout the meeting around genomics, biologic risk assessment, and de-escalation strategies.

Sessions from leading experts and KOLs reinforced the importance of individualized risk assessment in guiding DCIS care decisions.

PreludeDx is proud to help clinicians take the guesswork out of DCIS treatment planning.

What a great few days at the ASBrS Annual Meeting in Seattle!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, met with our team, and shared thoughtful insights throughout the meeting. We were energized by meaningful conversations with surgeons around DCISionRT®, AidaBreast® for early-stage invasive breast cancer, and the continued shift toward more personalized, biology-driven care.

One of the standout moments was Game Changers with Hannah Storm—bringing together top breast surgeons for important conversations on DCIS care and how we can better support more informed treatment decisions for patients.

We’re grateful for the engagement, collaboration, and continued commitment to advancing evidence-driven care. We look forward to keeping the conversation going beyond ASBrS!

Hannah Storm is partnering with PreludeDx to host Game Changers, a series of discussions focused on DCIS and how treatment decisions are evolving.

As a DCIS patient herself who was able to safely omit radiation because of the DCISionRT test, her message is both personal and impactful.

If you’re attending the American Society of Breast Surgeons Annual Meeting in Seattle, stop by Booth 405 on Friday—and be sure to check out her IG Story for highlights.

“Stage zero doesn’t mean zero challenges.”

In a powerful new article published in Flow Space, Jennifer A Douglas - Author + DCIS Patient Advocate shares 5 things she wishes she had known before her DCIS diagnosis—and her perspective is one many patients will recognize.

From realizing that diagnosis is just the beginning, to navigating unexpected tests, difficult decisions, and a recovery that doesn’t end when treatment does, her story highlights the reality behind a condition often misunderstood as “early” or “simple.”

She also speaks to something critical: patients have a voice—and increasingly, access to tools that can help inform more personalized treatment decisions, including DCISionRT.

Stories like Jennifer’s are an important reminder that better outcomes start with better understanding.
