Another project safely completed. 👷‍♂️ CTIS recently supported an active redevelopment project in New Jersey by safely decommissioning and removing de-energized transformers.

Our team:
• Built containment systems
• Removed the transformers safely and efficiently
• Prepared them for T&D

By working closely with site personnel, we minimized disruption to ongoing operations and kept the project moving forward. From decommissioning to final removal, CTIS is ready to support our clients every step of the way.

Project Spotlight | Landscaping Cap in New Jersey

CT Industrial Services is currently supporting the redevelopment of an active site in New Jersey, where our team is completing a landscaping cap project. 🌳

Our crews are removing soil containing multiple contaminants and installing and grading clean fill to create a protective cap across the property—all while coordinating with ongoing site activities.

To help protect the existing landscaping, we also mobilized our SuperSucker for root-zone vacuum excavation around trees and shrubs throughout the site. This specialized approach allows our team to work carefully around established vegetation while maintaining progress on the project.

We’re proud to play a role in the safe and successful redevelopment of this property and to bring the right people, equipment, and expertise to every project.

Project Spotlight | Acid Tank Removal in Groton, CT

Preparation, planning, and safety are the foundation of every successful remediation project. Our team recently completed the demolition and removal of acid aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) for the City of Groton, Connecticut. Working under extensive safety and environmental controls, CT Industrial Services safely decommissioned and dismantled the tanks while supporting the site's ongoing environmental remediation efforts.

Project Spotlight | Incinerator Decontamination in West Haven, CT

When precision, safety, and coordination matter most, our team delivers. CT Industrial Services was contracted by the City of West Haven to perform the decontamination and cleaning of an incinerator room at the city's active wastewater treatment facility. Working in a live operating environment, our crews safely removed ash and silica sand materials while implementing comprehensive air monitoring and environmental controls throughout the project.

By maintaining clear communication with plant personnel and adhering to strict safety protocols, our team completed the work ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents—all without disrupting facility operations.
