A lot of builders and developers are leaving real money unclaimed - not because the programs don't exist, but because the paperwork doesn't get done at the right time.

Programs like ENERGY STAR certification, Florida Water Star, and Duke Energy Florida's $500/unit multifamily rebate are still active right now. So are Florida's solar sales tax exemption and property tax exemption for solar installs.

The catch? Most require third-party testing and documentation. You can't go back and claim them after the fact.
