HVAC Installer/Technician
Climate Makers is looking to hire a hard-working and driven HVAC Installer/Technician. If you meet the qualifications and are interested in working both residential and commercial environments, Climate Makers may be the company for you. Climate Makers is a family-owned business that has been serving the Chicago North and Northwest Suburbs out of Lake Zurich, IL since 1978. Climate Makers is able to provide services that extend beyond simple HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair; they are able to optimize performance of these systems while paying close attention to the needs of the consumer. Using advanced technology, Climate Makers provides the most efficient as well as the most environmentally friendly service and equipment available!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Troubleshooting Heating and Cooling Units
• Installation of Furnaces/Boilers and Air Conditioning Units
• Working with Commercial Rooftop Units
• Electrical Work
• Customer Relations
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have Valid Driver's License
• Must have Own Tools
• Don't mind Long Hours, especially during busy seasons
• Availability on Weekends and After Hours
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Must live in or near Lake County, IL (Company is based out of Lake Zurich)
Must pass Mandatory Drug Test and Background Check
• Must have 2+ years of on-the-job experience
PREFERRED:
• Someone with 3-5+ years of on-the-job experience
• EPA Certified -- Universal/Class II
• R410A Certified
• Looking for someone that is very motivated and eager to learn
• Someone that is capable of working independently
A company vehicle will be provided. Pay will be commensurate with experience and ability.
