Honored to share that the DDA West Tennessee Regional Office Campus has been named a finalist in the New Construction – Large Project category for the Memphis Business Journal's 2026 Building Memphis Awards.

It was a privilege to lead the planning and design of this campus for the State of Tennessee, creating a facility that supports the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging’s mission and the individuals and families they serve across West Tennessee.

We appreciate the many partners involved in bringing this project to completion, including the construction team at Flintco.

As always, our team finds great value in projects like this one that fully reflect our mission statement: Creating an Enhanced Quality of Life for our Clients and Community.

Congratulations to Lauderdale County on being named one of the recipients of the Tennessee Historic Development Grant to support continued work on the historic Lauderdale County Courthouse. This funding will help further the revitalization of a landmark we first partnered on back in 2009 with major improvements to the facade and building envelope. We appreciate the county’s trust in our team and look forward to advancing preservation work that honors the courthouse’s legacy and strengthens the community.

Since 1986, A2H has partnered with clients and communities across a wide range of markets, from civic and education to healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure. While the projects and places may differ, our focus remains the same today as it was at the start: thoughtful planning, responsible design, and a commitment to Creating an Enhanced Quality of Life for our Clients and Community.

At its December meeting, the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority formally approved selecting A2H to lead its on-call Architecture and Landscape Architecture contract directly supporting planning and design efforts associated with the renaming of Memphis International Airport to Frederick W. Smith International Airport. We’re humbled to contribute to such a meaningful moment for the city and the region as it honors the legacy of Fred Smith.

We look forward to working alongside our teaming partners, local urban planning and landscape architecture firm Dalhoff Thomas design studio and the internationally recognized environmental graphic design and branding team at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), to support thoughtful design work that reflects the airport’s role as a front door to Memphis and the Mid-South.

It’s official: Memphis International Airport will be Frederick W. Smith International Airport.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to engage with the ALUKO Group team on this meaningful investment in Lauderdale County. Industrial and manufacturing projects like this are an important part of the work we do across the Southeast. It's easy to connect the economic development and revitalization they bring with our mission of "Creating an Enhanced Quality of Life for Clients and Community".

The A2H team was honored to sponsor and attend the Greater Memphis Chamber’s 2025 Chairman’s Luncheon at the historic Peabody Memphis. The energy in the room was absolutely contagious.

A huge congratulations to the Greater Memphis Chamber for being named the 2025 ACCE Chamber of the Year, a well-earned recognition of their outstanding leadership and impact. As a proud member of the Chairman’s Circle , we’re inspired every day by the Chamber’s vision and commitment to making Memphis stronger, bolder, and more connected. We left even more excited about the future of our city and the partnerships that are driving it forward. Memphis is truly on the rise, and we’re grateful to be part of it.

Greater Memphis Chamber

A2H was proud to take part in the 3rd Annual Delta Boulé STEM Summit at the University of Memphis Herff College of Engineering, held inside the Edwards Research & Innovation Center, one of our projects.

The event brought together students, educators, and industry professionals to explore how STEM education translates from the classroom to real-world careers. We enjoyed sharing what we do, connecting with future innovators, and seeing firsthand the energy and curiosity that will shape the next generation of engineers, designers, and planners.

Special thanks to the University of Memphis Herff College of Engineering and the Greater Memphis Chamber for organizing such a meaningful event and continuing to champion STEM education in our region.
