Job Title: Underground/Utility Estimator-Asst. Project Manager

Come work for a well-established family owned company and be part of something bigger here at Enebak Construction Co.. We’re a 120 year old local excavation construction company that performs site grading, underground utility installation work and foundation excavations here in the upper Midwest.
Enebak Construction Company is looking for an Utility Estimator/Asst. Project Manager who will be responsible for delivering precise and competitive estimates for new sewer and water utility construction projects, ensuring all bids are complete and submitted on time. This role works hand in hand with the rest of the estimating team in preparation and delivery of bids to our clients. This position involves close coordination with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments. The Estimator plays a crucial role in maintaining cost databases, updating bid templates, and ensuring successful bid outcomes.

Requirements / Experience:

• Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, contracts, and other engineering documents related to utility construction.
• Strong understanding of utility operations, including equipment and products used in sewer and water industry.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare all job-related reports and bid documents.
• Proven ability to interact professionally with other employees, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Highly organized individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient in handling stressful situations and workloads.
• Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using B2W, Business Center, AutoCad, and/or previous construction estimating experience is a plus.

One of our best operators and for sure one of the best guys you'll ever meet is retiring from Enebak Construction Co. after 36 years! We'll miss him daily but are very happy for him has he starts this next chapter in his life! Thank you for everything you've done for us and for being who you are! Enjoy your retirement, you've earned it!

Memorial Day is a solemn reminder of the millions of Americans that have given their lives serving our great country. Without their ultimate sacrifice, America would not be the Land of Free nor the most sought after place in the world to live. Our ideals of freedom and democracy are only possible due to their service and sacrifice.
